The consolidation tournament for NT teams has started.
This time, we were not very lucky with the draw, except for Jamaica. But even of the giants, only Greece came across, with which we have already played in the first round. Almost all the other teams are a little stronger than us, but it's quite possible to play with them. It will be difficult to fight for 5 victories, but there is nowhere to retreat.
Scotland 87-138 Greece
Did not expect such a failure, we managed to lose by more than 50 points. I tried to slow down the game with slow tactics, but it gave little result. This is definitely one of our worst defensive games. We didn't play so badly in attack, but it was too little. We didn't play with the optimal squad, McClair got a form 6, so he dropped out of the starting lineup. We don't have an equivalent replacement, so the starting line-up has lost a lot against the opponent. However, it would be better now than later, in any case, defeat was guaranteed.

Andorra 88 - 107 Scotland
We managed to defeat Andorra without unnecessary nervousness. The game was played at home for us and our roster is a little stronger, so I really hoped to win.
It turned out well that we managed to create an advantage in the first half and not lose it in the second half. It was also lucky that the opponent's coach decided not to put an increased mood on the game, otherwise it is not known how the game would have turned out.
McClair and Lyle were in the form of 7, so the option of a close-range attack was a priority. We managed to win the rebound, the extra possessions helped us a lot to create a difference.
There is a very difficult match ahead with Malaysia away, for the chances of winning we really need a high level of form from the leaders.

An incredibly difficult victory for us. We played in a better mood, but on a visit. To save the chances of 5 wins, I really wanted to win.
At the beginning of the match, everything was fine, we won the opening three quarters with a total difference of +13. But there was a failure in the fourth quarter, and it was only with the help of a free throw in the last second of the match that we turned the match into overtime.
In overtime, we lost 6 points 40 seconds before the end, but first MacPhee, and then Lyle, after intercepting N. Johnson with two three-pointers, compare the score. We were still able to withstand the pressure from Cyprus and win the match. The first quarter was not very successful, it seemed that we might have problems, but we won the other quarters. The home playground helped us a lot.
Interestingly, we performed a very large number of FT - 47s, and they didn't hit very well - only 74.5%.
Nevertheless, we have a third consecutive victory.
There is an away match in Jamaica ahead. We are waiting for a fourth consecutive victory, but after that we will have difficult matches.

Scotland 124 - 85 Jamaica
It's not the most difficult game for us. We could have claimed a bigger point difference than +39, but our squad and the shape of the players were not optimal.
Four wins in a row in the official matches of the same season, this has not happened with the team since the 22nd season.
Now there are three really difficult matches ahead. The next match is against the Philippines on the home court, we really need the high form of the players

Philippines 93 - 80 Scotland
There were no high expectations about the result, but we played very confidently against a strong opponent, the home court gave us an advantage.
Scotland 86 - 106 Denmark
We wanted to win this match, but in Denmark it was difficult for us to play number one, we fouled too much.
Indonesia 73 - 97 Scotland
The main bet was on this game, and it worked perfectly, our advantage in enthusiasm and the home court gave us a quiet victory.
Any victory was enough to pass, not necessarily a big one, but you never know in advance.
Nevertheless, we are in the playoffs - this is a very good achievement. The last time we got into the playoffs was in season 22, then we even passed the first round.
The match against Italy will be a pleasant end to the season for us.
