Had a couple questions, thought I might ask here. I did prowl around the main forums, but felt like I was getting too many disparate answers.

When it comes to finding draft prospects, what are some of the better techniques? In the past I've gotten some of the group scoutings, but my success rate has been pretty variant. Is Scouting Combine and a few targeted hits the best method? Or something completely unrelated?

Following up on that, is there an expected amount of points I should expect to have to spend to find reasonable prospects?

Last thing, do you ever just punt on the draft? I feel like I have the folks I'm looking to train for next season already and was considering just saving my points for next season. Dopes this seem reasonable or am I missing something.

Thanks for any help.

I find the group demonstration useful. Can usually unearth a few good propsects to draft. I rank players I have scouted over players I haven't and for me the group demo comes in handy. That's been my starting point recently.

If I like the team I have I will punt on the draft and keep socking away points for the next one. To mitigate that some, I keep an eye out for rookies that are up for sale. I find some nice ones every so often.

Group demonstration then interview the 5 star players to see if they have 5 star potential. It's pretty simple imo.
