The Spartan Warriors organization is thrilled to announce that our very own Drew Watson has been named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) for Season 66. This prestigious recognition is a testament to Drew’s incredible work ethic, leadership, and elite level of play throughout a historic season for the Spartan Warriors. Averaging 20 points and 9 assists per game, he showcased remarkable efficiency, shooting 53% from the field and an elite 49% from beyond the arc. On the defensive end, he solidified his place as one of the league’s most impactful two-way players, ranking top 5 in steals per game while anchoring our defensive schemes. His ability to lead on both ends of the court has been pivotal to our team's success.
After narrowly missing the playoffs last season, the Spartan Warriors bounced back in a big way, finishing with an 18-4 record—a significant improvement from last season’s 12-10 mark. Drew’s leadership, on and off the court, has been instrumental in helping us secure the second seed in a challenging conference.
As we celebrate Drew’s MVP win, the Spartan Warriors are already preparing for Season 67. With the foundation built this season, the team is focused on taking the next step: competing for the championship.
