The third season begins in the best possible way: two young promises, the Kazakh A. Bortnikov
(53254251) and the Swiss J. Nouvel
(53254288), are picked in the draft.
The team, although full of young talents, is still very immature: many defeats (15) and few victories (7). The performances in the cup were also disappointing with the elimination in the 2nd round, and in the BBM tournament they were eliminated after the first phase.
At the end of the regular season the Eagles found themselves in third to last place, after having sacrificed a few games for a better position in the draft. The play-outs for salvation, against all odds and with the field factor against them, were managed with ease.
The series ended in the third game at 133 - 110 for the Forlì Eagles.
Season 65 is upon us and the new arrivals from the draft could revolutionize the team...
