I used the offsite attendance helper application to look at this question. (Granted that gives you average numbers, not numbers if you are winning or losing.) If you figure a 20k capacity, you get max earnings at different ratios in different divisions. These are approximate: D1 is 7500 LT, 12k BL. D2 is 5500 LT, 14k BL. D3 is 3500 LT, 16k BL. So it depends where you look to end up. I figure you shoot for something like 7k LT, 13500 BL will split the difference for D1 & D2. A less ambitious build might be 6k LT 14500 BL.
It's my understanding, too that if you have high priced LT seats, people who would otherwise buy LT seats will spend less and fill up your bleachers. The inverse of this is the logic behind building more LT. But, the arena build is an inexact science as best I can tell. My guess is anywhere between 4k-8k will do alright and you can fill the rest up with bleachers.
