I am wondering how much enthusiasm could "compensate" for playing TIE.

Is there any approaching formula for that ? For example, is having 9 enthusiasm and playing TIE about the same as playing normal with 5 enthusiasm ? or do they not compensate because they are different things ?

thanks !

They do, to answer your question, but I couldn't tell you how much this is anymore.

I had been running TIE all season until I forgot to set it for my cup game a couple games ago (then I played my rival who I was tied with for first place so I rolled with normal for that as well) and it appears that once you get up to the 10+ range your guys definitely play better than they would've at 5. I would guess that TIE plays at about half the enthusiasm as normal.

It is not that much, I would say a 8 TIE vs. a 5/6 normal is about reasonable
