Hiya, i downloaded the v2.4, opened it but all icould change were the heights and ages, where when clicking on the selected ones, the scroll down option came up.
There was nothing i could do about the names, skills, potential, as when i clicked on any of them nothing happened, i wasnt given an option to erase and input the correct one, neither a scroll down appeared with set figures, at least for the skills and potential.

Is there something im doing wrong?

P.S i could change the trainer's level and also set the training regime, per week/year and assign (default)trainees to it.

I've been a little busy in RL, so I just saw your message. Thanks for bringing it up.

I couldn't duplicate your problem on my end. Please answer a few questions to help me figure out the problem:
1) What OS/program were you using to open the spreadsheet?
2) When you tried deleting the information in the "Current Skills" cells and typing in new information, did nothing happen? or did you get an error message/alert sound?
3) And am I correct that you did not open the spreadsheet in "read-only" mode?
4) Are you able to input anything into other blank cells on the sheet?

Thanks!

Is anyone else having this problem?

Thanks for the reply.
1)I opened the Drive with Firefox and downloaded the spreadsheet with PlanMaker.
Opening the PlanMaker file run into all the problems afore mentioned.

2) Nothing happened, no errormessage and/or sound alert

3) Read only mode

4) No

Anyways, i processed the spreadsheet on Drive itself. There i was able to input all the data,no problems. I wrote three players, set their training regime(for PG/SG) for 2 seasons( with them 3 in the 1,2,3 slots, deleted all the other default names).

For season 1, it gives me the training results of players 1 and 2, but for player 3, the skills remain the same with current skill.
For season 2, for players 1 and 2 results in all of their skills i get a "N/A" sign and player3 still remains the same with current skill.

For some reason, in season's 2 training regime, it doesnt read the command "PRESSURE (PG/SG)", as when i scroll over the N/A signs in the training results, it says PRESSURE (PG/SG) not found.

I have the same command in season's 1 training regime and at least for the first two players, training results come up properly.

You're welcome!

I'm not familiar with PlanMaker. But I know that drive.google.com won't support the number of pages necessary to make the spreadsheet work.

Here's what I suggest you do:

First, try opening it without using read only mode. "Read-only" mode prevents you from being able to make any changes.

Then, if this doesn't help, my suggestion is that you download OpenOffice (http://www.openoffice.org/). It's a free office suite that will reliably let you work with spreadsheets. You should be able to successfully use the spreadsheet with this program.

Thank you for the instructions.
I downloaded it with openoffice. Switched to edit mode. Was able to input all the data, with one exception.

My first trainee has DR 10, current skill. I input the value, but as soon as i moved to the next slot, the DR box showed three hashtags instead of the 10 value. Rest of the slots,no problem.

Then, in the first season training results, his DR obviously shows no value(hashtags) AND also his HA is the same(no value-hashtags). Note that in the current skills section, i was able to input his HA skill value (9).

I thought that there maybe a problem with two digit numbers, but thats not the case, cause for instance in OD i put his current skill 8 and in first season training results section, it moved up to 10.33.

The hashtags are because the column is not wide enough to display the number, just make it wider and it will display normally

Thanks mate.

Wouldn't/shouldn't be offended if this thread was subtitled "instructions for dummies offered"!

Hi !
This tool is excellent ! Great job my friend!
I'll share my training results to support the work.

ps.: i've noticed there is a mismatch about ASW week (8 in the first sheet, 7 in player's sheet...) not a big matter of fact ! :°)

Thanks!

You're right. Midway through creating it, I realized that the first week of training for the new season was actually before any games were played. That means that the ASG happens in the 8th week of training, even though it is the 7th week of the season. And I forgot to change it in the player sheets. I'll get that fixed in the next version. Thanks for the help!

Now presenting Version 2.5.2!!!

Lots of additions
1) Player Input Sheet: This allows you two options to copy-and-paste skills into the simulator (from either the BB "set your lineup" page or a table with sublevel estimates from the USA-Offsite for its users).
2) "Salary Efficiency" metric: This compares the salary of your player's build to what the salary would be if all pops were equal.
3) Date Specific Training: Now you don't need to erase past weeks. It just ignores any dates before today. This way you can see past training regimen.
4) Season 22 Salary Estimator: Salaries are now estimated using the most current algorithm from the USA-Offsite.
5) More Seasons and Players: Now simulate training for 10 current and 2 future players for 10 seasons.
