From s53 news:

Also as announced, as part of our efforts to counter very short rosters, players will tire more easily during matches. Stamina will drain faster, especially with very high minutes. The change has been tested and is already implemented, so the effects should be visible with the first matches of the season

I'm absolutely happy to not see anymore winning teams with 5 players as roster BUT I'm absolutely afraid about the effect of this change in the trainings. Reading this news I'm worried about the possibility to give 48 minutes per game to my training players and this is an option I wound't consider... To solve a problem a new one has been created?

IMO, dealing with 5 players teams (or any few players rosters) by changing the stamina effect right out of nowhere is NOT what should have been done at least from two points of view

1. "5 players in the roster" does not have anything to do with stamina and it could have been solved in a number of different ways. For example - solve the 5 players in the roster by counting players in the roster for the game. It even sounds logical!
Lets say, games where a roster have less than 8 players, will be affected.

What we got actually: ALL teams will be affected, not only the ones with few players.

2. Introducing such a change over the night, for already planned budgets, economy, revenues ... is not what you should do. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I havent noticed any improved stamina levels for the new draftees. So it means it will have to be trained more often then till today.

So couple of questions for BBs
- How will this affect teams who have young trainees compared to teams who have older trainees? Will this put younger teams in an additional disadvantage?
- How will this affect the training schedule in terms of getting required 48min at least per week?
- If this will more realistically represent the "real world" shouldn't then stamina also pop-up during other skills trainings?
- Shouldn't then also a gym improve the stamina as well?
- Will you provide a stats on how does new changes affect the game? Some charts, tables, estimations ... ? Otherwise, this change is like "we measured it, believe me" only

Changes are good, but side effects can sometimes be bigger than the advantage of the change.

Focusing on training has to have a negative impact on team on-court performance.
Focusing on training young raw players has to have a big negative impact on team on-court performance.

A strategy game is all about trade-offs.

well for sure if this change will have a negative impact on minutes per match available for train this will affect a lot an already dying economy.
Plus teams not interested to train can train every week stamina in order to reduce the impact of the new "feature" so I see another point to not relate directly competitive of players to stamina.

Maybe could be related to a sum per week, example, if a player gets over 80 minutes on a single week, he will have a drastical drop on the field and on game shape too

I think this is already affecting the team that Trains... for they already are using a weaker team to win against other teams on their league..

How about rewarding them instead to promote training efforts...

I think in real life... if you push the limits of the young athletic peaple you will help them develope their STA... what doest kill them makes them stronger... So Letting them play probably those under the age of 21 (or even older, whatever you see fit) should have a positive effect on their STA, not the other way around....

Yes I too agree that teams with unfair number of players being dominant on hiegher leagues... you should find a system fix... you could probably just Tax to them...

I hope BBs thought how it might affect training.. If it kills training, the cure is worse than the illness it meant to solve.

This is new update with stamina really upsets me. It came from nowhere and all my plans for the future are ruined as it stands.

I want to make it clear that I support the idea of a bigger roster and stamina affecting the game... BUT! Not like this!

Firstly, if you want to make BB a more reaslistic game, then yes, a player should get tired the more time he spents on the court. But in reality his durability also goes up through though games. So the decline/increasment of stamina should be fixed either with a training facility like you did for FT or the player's stamina should increase with "perfect minutes" per week or something like that.

Secondly, the problem with training minutes. Will the players taht you train still be able to play full 48+ minutes in one single game?

These are my main concerns, but there is some more. But for a start, fix training of stamina in some way. It really is unfair that stamina decreases as time goes by, beacause as I said, in real life your stamina goes up if you train and play something. It's not like the more you run the more you will be in bad shape.
