I'm a returning player, just got this team a few weeks ago but I have a few years under my belt with previous teams. My last season was somewhere in the upper 30s.
Having been dropped in a league with only about 4-5 active players, and already knowing how to quickly put together a competitive roster, league games are already getting boring pretty quickly (there's only about 5 games on the IV.57 schedule I expect to provide a serious challenge). But this new BBM tournament, and especially the way it's formatted using swiss matchmaking, practically guarantees I'll be getting about half a dozen interesting, competitive games against similar competition, even all the way down in tier 15.
This is honestly exactly what I needed to keep myself engaged and test different lineups/tactics while I try to build up a team. And I expect that it'll do a lot to keep other newer players, stuck in leagues either too strong or too weak for them, involved and interested. I love it!
