Does mllama have standing to appeal this decision? :P I thought we could only appeal games we were involved in.

You are right, anyone can appeal any game. But they only get to keep their right to appeal future games if they win that particular appeal.

Well, if it turns out that mllama can't do it then i'll back him and lodge it myself. Grgur had quite a mediocre game really and Zuras and Howorth were the leaders of this one. Howorth played SF but defended at SG and vice versa for Zuras so i'd say that Zuras deserves the 3 votes as he was efficient offensively and completely shutdown his opponent defensively. Howorth the 2 and Svorinic the 1.
I'm not sure why the votes seem to follow a Team A, Team B, Team A sort of format most of the time but i disagree with that. Svorinic scored 30 points but shot 10-26 and was a team worth -21 in the +- so not all that valuable for the team. Considering they lost by 12, the team was actually 7 points better off without him on the court.

it is for that reason that i will never be doing the write ups again ... i cant be relied upon to objectively judge anything

Haha i wasn't trying to have a go at you. Especially since it was a drunken write up, i'd say you did pretty well. There's always going to be a game here or there throughout the season through the leagues that needs to be reviewed, even sober ones! :P

Don't worry Smeltz you did a great job, one little mistake doesn't matter as long as the main job is done and we have a hassle free and friendly appeals process.

The A B A or often A A B votes format are mostly mine, it is the school teacher in me still wanting to give something to the losing side. Heck I have even given 2 or even 3 once to a player from the losing side in a blowout if they really were the best player on the court by a mile. I certainly don't try to follow any pattern but I do try to give the losing team something if they had at least one player who was good.

I think for this particular case Judge C-Cat will have a very easy time.
