I spent $ 1.4M on a 18yr old who, when I sell him a few seasons down the road, probably won't even get me back 1.4M. Oh well, at least he didn't foul out in 10 minutes today like I was expecting.

Yeah... I don't know if that's just always how it goes (constant inflation), but I feel like a lot of the guys I bought to train (who are now very solid players IMO) are worth somewhere around what I paid for them as trainees.

That said, I really enjoy the fact that right now there's only one player (my backup SG) that I didn't draft or acquire towards the beginning of the season when they were 18. Thinking I'm about to end up against the wall that has me selling some of my favorite guys in order to get better...

Weekly salary: $ 6 306

Age: 18
Height: 7'4" / 224 cm
Potential: superstar

Jump Shot: inept Jump Range: atrocious
Outside Def.: awful Handling: awful
Driving: atrocious Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: respectable Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: awful Free Throw: pitiful

Nothing spectacular unfortunately, though I think he will train fast due to height. JFarb is my brother in law, or will be, told me a bunch of people were buying 18yr old Americans this season and I wanted to help the U21 by single position training the hell out of someone, so I guess this is the guy. Missed out with Fitch for U21 a few seasons back because of potential, I hope superstar is enough this time. Jelme is superstar enough usually?

Yea I got one earlier (Tom Swain) also with 7 Inside Shot, 7 Inside Defense, 5 Rebounding, same potential, less height, for only 125k. But I figured I have a ton of $ so might as well go for someone a little better, train Swain for a bit, maybe until he has strong on Inside Shot & Defense, sell him and get some $ back.

Next round of cup draws is taking a long time to come out. I'm due for a nice season full of bots, c'mon RNG!

I was gonna go in big for a US U21 trainee, but 450k only got me this guy:

Eric Lincoln

Jump Shot: respectable Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: average Handling: average
Driving: mediocre Passing: awful
Inside Shot: average Inside Def.: average
Rebounding: awful Shot Blocking: atrocious
Stamina: mediocre Free Throw: mediocre ↑

Experience: atrocious

He's great long-term with the IS and ID but for U21 I think he might be a touch below grade...

King Drive Ballers (30311) away

Div V

Good passing, too bad the dr isn't a little higher to start.

Pulled this guy, despite getting injured and only 33 mins last week, he double popped.
