Not sure what forum I should put this in, so I'll go here. In my last game, I noticed that a few offensive fouls counted as team fouls (which go towards the bonus). I thought that, in the NBA at least (I know nothing about world basketball rules), an offensive foul is not counted as a team foul. Thus, my offensive fouls counting as team fouls seems strange to me.

Of course, if offensive fouls count as team fouls in international rules, then I understand. Otherwise, maybe this should be changed?

In international basketball they are counted. But the opposite team cannot be awarded free throws if you make an offensive foul.

I believe that's true in college rules too...

Just wondering, what attributes of the players committed offensive foul(s)? Poor driving and handling skills? how about lack of passing skill?

Or is it related to offensive strategy/tactic? Say 3 seconds violation if Look inside is used, travelling foul if push the ball is used, etc.
