Can anyone explain why this player has such a low salary?
From his skills, (three at 20+) I'd expect a MUCH higher pay.

It's almost end of the season, his salary will get updated during the off-season processing. He has been trained in 1v1 for guards this entire time.

But the salary calculator shows about 30k only anyway

I was expecting a much higher salary, even at 30k.

Salary will be updated at the start of the season.

The current salary is based on the start of this season, i.e 13 June 2013. After several weeks of training, that player might have lots of pops. The next update of the salary should be around mid-September 2013. His salary would not be $22,230 after update.

I have a couple of players with much lower skills earning 40k+. After the update, this may be even higher.
Maybe that's me , but I found this salary too low (and someone here said the prediction for next season will be about 30k).

Check some calculators and salary formulas, every skill point brings same salary, in certain skills. OD from 6 to 7, increases salary just the same as OD from 16 to 17
