In our games, we have training and injuries. However, there is not any suspension in this game.

In NBA, we saw players fight, and got suspension for a game or two.

I would like to suggest we should have similar arrangement. Say, flagrant fouls in league game after fighting, and suspended for one league game or two afterward. As for scrimmage, flagrant foul only, but no suspension for fight.

(i) Fighting in league game - flagrant foul, ejection and suspension of next league game (or two)
(ii) Fighting in cup game - flagrant foul, ejection and suspension of next cup game (cleared by start of new season)
(iii) Fighting in scrimmages - flagrant foul and ejection, but no suspension.

In live game, there could be a message "XXX and YYY exchanged words. XXX pushed YYY violently, and YYY reacted angrily. Both got flagrant fouls and were ejected for the game."

This is just to add more uncertainty to the game. Any opinion?

I don't have a problem with it. I also don't have a problem with injuries. Anything that might add to the flavor and the feeling of immersion, I am on board.

I wonder if people might be more amenable to player absences if players had individual tendencies towards them. Some players are injury-prone, some are durable. Some have unchecked tempers, some are saints. Some players play all-out to the point of being reckless, some take plays off.

If I knew that I was signing a player like Rasheed Wallace or Dennis Rodman, I would be more willing to accept the risk that he might miss a game or three. If I took a chance on signing Amare Stoudemire or Yao Ming, I would at least know that he would carry a higher risk than usual of missing time with injuries (and... perhaps... suffering a skill hit because of one?).

More likely that their buy and sell price would decrease compared to a more reliable player of the same skill. For a lower price, a team would take on additional risk.

It would potentially make doctors a more important consideration. Do you spend more on a doctor and count on him to keep your brittle players healthy? Or do you spend more on iron men and hope that you never need a doctor?
