Hi,

even as a newbie in this league let me start the new thread.
Hope we will have some fun here this season.
And I just spotted a well-known face here from our federation, Al-Bundy
I don't have any specific goals for this season because my promotion came a little bit out of nowhere. I always forget this stupid rule in Utopia where you can promote with your record of the regular season even when you lose the first PO-round.
I guess avoiding relegation should be my main goal since I will most probably exit the tournament this week

What are your goals and expectations for the upcoming season?

My team is getting old. I hope I can pull a Spurs and still make the playoffs this season. Don't think I can do much more while I'm training the younger guys. I don't think I'll go far in the tournament as well.

with 4 wins in 4 games it should be a easy win against you
i hope to reach the playoffs again, normally i am focussed on the league, so the tournament run should be short, too.

Considering your roster I can't really argue your bold prediction
I might have the better top player now, but your depth is more than a compensation for that. At least I know the skills of your Italian guy now, if you can't get rid of him

I hoped to go late in the season against your spurs, expecting a reasonable amount of skill-downs for your team in the meantime. But well, we will meet this Saturday. I'm afraid, I will get wrecked^^

My hope is that I at least can reach playoffs. Beat a playoff team from last season away in my first game so looks promising. Two of my starters are still getting efficient training so I should keep improving during the season compared to some other teams that seems like they have oldies in the starting line up with worsening skills.
