Hello everyone and welcome to Season 66. I thought I would kick off our chatter with a welcome-to-all all post.

Joining us this season we have

Pacific Grove, who was in a tough II.4 and brings a stacked roster to III.5.
Compton Killaz, Champions of IV.49
La Crosse Slammers, Champions of IV.2
T.C. Titans, Finalist in IV.32
Colbolt Bullets, Champions of IV.4
FlipBasket, Champions of IV.33

As is typically the case at the beginning of the season, rosters are a bit fluid, and the transfer list activity is piqued.

How does everyone feel about their squad?

I'll start with mine.

I'm shifting training focus and found myself in another untenable financial situation with my salaries rising for my last round of trainees. So I liquidated one of my guards and invested in some younger guys. I've got a few more guys for sale and depending upon what I get I might add one more piece to the puzzle.

Last year worked out really well for me with a late-season push, and then the stark reality of facing whoever made it out of the Great 8 slaughterhouse. That would be a great result again, but realistically I'm aiming for that 4th seed while I (hopefully) find the yet-attained perfect roster balance for another run at DII.

Good luck to all (except when you play RCR)

This is likely the last run for the SCD. We are way over budget with just enough to make a late addition if needed. If we don't win this year then it's likely going to result in a big sell off and rebuilding from scratch. BTW, when's the last time you saw a 5-1 team with a negative point differential
