It's not about racism, it's about realism.
For me it's not very realistic to get only white people from african countries and on the other hand there are obviously a lot more of dark-skinned guys from spain. I'm interested in the reason of this strange behaviour. I don't want to assume racism to BB ;)

That's not racism, that's realism.
Afaik there are player names for each language in BuzzerBeater.
Every country gets the player names from different language pools but that's according to what the names in that country are in reality. Let's say 85% of the German players have German names, 5% have Turkish names, 3% Italian, 2% French and the rest is random from every other language.

You could use a similar pattern for the skin color. Players from African countries would just have a higher probability of having dark skin and the same would apply e.g. for Europeans or Asians.

I'm sure the BBs could find some guys painting a couple of new face parts for that purpose...

We have both said a lot of things that you are going to regret.

By the way, the only black player I remember having on my team is from Nigeria ;-) And I still have him in my roster.

BB is fun, and the mix of players is really funny to me. I remember I saw an argentinian player wit a chinese name, with black skin and blond hair... Wait, I'm laughing right now imagining his roots, hahah

Please, don't fix this "mistake", I love it.

Even though your intention is realism, I think the color of the skin is a very sensitive topic for historical reasons, people may feel bad about it, and very easily it could even lead to political discussions which are not allowed in this game.
I don´t know how does BB deal with player faces, but I guess it´s pretty far from a realistic approach. And you don´t have to focus on the color of the face, just take a look to the color of the eyes!

I would rather improve realism in other parts of the game.

Agree a lot. For example, the speed is a skill that I'd love to have included in bb.

BB is for fun people, don't take it too seriously.

Just to clarify, I don't care about the skin color of my players. This is a browser game, that's it. But I can understand that it may look strange to some people to see an African team consisting only of white people.
