It's good to get a feel for how D3 is, even if it's just for one year. You've got a big stadium to rake in the cash. That'll help get ya retool if you demote. Besides, you might have more success than you think. I'll probably finish last, so you've got that going for ya. :-D

Good luck to everyone this season.

Good luck everyone. I'm hoping to do at least to a little better than I did last season.

Jbogroff: You thinking of training 6 players in 2 pos training the whole time for SF/PF? Sounds like it would be slow, and you'd have a hard time capping them all without a super high trainer. Could be ok with lower potential players though, and a good way to build up a usable bench.

I guess I will try to compete this season. I'm finding out how difficult it is to compete in D3 while training 2 U21 players! :`-(

I picked up a shiny new starting PF so my SF doesn't have to play out of position anymore. Inside depth was a serious issue last season.

Jbogroff: One On One Forwards is really the only good SF/PF training. It's optimal to always do single position training when possible. Hope this helps!

I wish everyone the best of luck and a healthy season!

A few things I've observed so far this season:

1. I'm not a 7-1 team.
2. New York Dragons is much better than their 5-3 record.
3. Blaine Hurtado is my favorite player, ever. Dude might actually lead the league in PTS, REB, AST. He's basically Wilt Chamberlain.
4. My team is way too top heavy and over-reliant on my PG.
5. Single position training is where it's at.
6. Raising ticket prices feels like a good idea when you're 7-0
7. Raising ticket prices feels like a terrible idea after a TV game home loss.
8. I'm starting to suspect that most of you are actually bots.

Here's some proof that at least not everyone is a bot. :-D

1] I'm also not a 7-1 team. Only won 5 games all last season with the same team. Maybe we're both wrong. :-)

2] I think also New York is better than their record. And they will prove 1 & 2 by beating me Tuesday.

3] Blaine is a great player. Would be cool to know what kind of skills a players like that has. Maybe even have a guy like that one day. He might have more triple doubles individually as I do as a team.

I'm guessing New York makes a run now that he's healthy. He rested his 5 best players against me and still kept it close.

Junkyard is having a great season too.

What makes Blaine even better is that Ron Swanson drafted him. Pretty impressive to have trained that player and stuck with him that entire time. I don't have that type of patience.

I've got a super tough match with Fox today. I think I'm going to get rolled - still believe that your side of the conference is better than mine.

I got pretty lucky last year to survive the gauntlet and made my big move during inter-conference play. I'm happy to have finished my side with 7 wins, and I'm hoping I can split the inter-conference play. That would put me at 11-4 on the other side.

Trying to move my PG, but it's the wrong time of the season to move an expensive guy. Hopefully I can get rid of him before he starts to lose TSP.

Love this recap!

I'll be at the bottom end of this race after the moves I've made. They were done with an eye toward the future. My PG had dropped 10 skill points this season, so I knew it was time to move him. I got significantly younger. My guards are placeholders and I may end up with on more guard for my rotation. I went out on a limb on an extremely unique player in Willy Williams. My hope is that I can finish his training inside and turn him into a SF. My prediction is that I finish 5th with 12 or 13 wins.
