Right now my strategy is to have a temporary bench for the Cup and hope that I don't draw anyone outside of a bot or low level team in the first few weeks. I'm slated to make money right now, but I'm going to be down from last year, and I was down from the year before. I'm stuck in that "training transition" period. Typically in the past what I've done is train 2-4 guys, sell off a few and use those funds to grab some new trainees at a new position. But I went away from that a few seasons ago to remain competitive at D2. So I sold my old bench because I was bleeding money and now I'm taking a more conservative financial approach at a significantly reduced talent level.
