I agree with that. Training is the only thing that kept me going for years (literal-human-years). I train guys until about 21-22 after drafting (if lucky, but mostly buying) a stud rookie. Then I sell them and start over. The training pops are what it has been about for me. I don't care about going to the NBBA or winning that, and I probably couldn't anyway! I can make it to D2 and stay with ease with my money but once there, I don't like not having the freedom to do what I like best ...TRAINING POPS!
Drafting is awful, you are right. That's the end of that story pretty much.
Training is great and I like how it has secret sauce built in. I don't want that to change, ever. If everyone knew all the formulas, exactly, then that would be a huge miss.
