I thought about it but it would have been wasteful. I was hoping for a first-round victory, and then I was going to use that enthusiasm toward the conference final. I had a plan for Hipster that I thought was pretty solid (predicted pace and style), and loaded up on a defensive setting to counter their offensive setting. Statistically, I'm pleased with the outcome (equal fouls and turnovers, FT's made and only 1 REB difference), but he's just better and deeper than my squad without those two. HCA was a factor, but more so talent was a factor in that matchup.
Nuking you would just have been a jerk move to only prevent you from having a playoff opportunity. I took the "belief in self" approach ; )
