Wow,
I always thought that the difference between some levels are bigger.

So this would mean. I trivialize, 100 trainings, 100 pops on lvl 5, and 103 pops on level 6?

Thats how I read it too. Doesn't seem the higher levels are worth anywhere close to what people are paying for those trainers. I can invest that money into buying a better player that has already been well developed and get many more pops for the money. Let other people spend that money for me.

moneywise surely. On the other hand you still get the joy of the friday's pop more frequently.

Is the game about virtual money or the joy of training ?

It depends on your perspective. If you are not looking to fully maximize the player's potential and you don't have atleast a Hall of Famer in your team, it's not worth it.

If you are looking at developing players who reach and go beyond their potential, then it's needed, and you can see how in the highest levels of competition (B3, D.1, NT, u21) every single pop or 0.1 is essential to plan around and for your player to get it.

Also I think a lot of people are missing a crucial point here.

What about the gym?

The gym gives 10% of each training. We also have youth trainer, whose exact coefficients are unknown. But I see that a lot of people are missing the main point.

Example
Let's say that a 18 year old, is receiving 1v1F, and he receives 1.15 total effect per training, the difference between lvl 5 and lvl 6 is 3%. So 3% of 1.15 would be 0,0345.

1.15 + 0,0345 = 1,1845. PLUS we now apply the gym's effect of 10%, that is an extra 0,11. So in total 1,30. Per training!

A level 5, with gym would be 1.15 + 10% (0.115) = 1,265. Per training, a difference of 0,035 per training.

What about level 7? 1.15 + 6% (0,069) = 1,219. + 10% gym = 1,34 total training coefficient, per training

Now we will assume that the first 2 seasons are going to be 1v1F.

Level 7 + gym = 1.34 * 28 weeks = 37,52
Level 6 + gym = 1.30 * 28 weeks = 36,4 pops
Level 5 + gym = 1.265 * 28 weeks = 35,42 pops

Just in the first 2 seasons we already have a difference of 1 pop. An extra pop. With level 6.
And 2 extra pops with level 7.

Of course, after the first 2 seasons in which you finish 1v1F, the numbers will be reduced, because very few types of training give more than 1 pop total distributed by the trained skills, in each training.

For example OD will be something like (I don't remember the exact numbers so I will give you an approximate estimate)

0.4 OD
0.2 HA
0.15 DR

which is more or less 0.75 total pops per training. Regardless, I am sure you can achieve much more than 3 pops before the age of 25 for your player if you have gym. I would even say that between 5 and 7 pops is a more realistic estimate of how much effect your player has with gym + lvl 6 trainer, by the age of 25.

So all in all, difference between lvl 5 and lvl 6 may not seem like much at first, but if you couple it with gym, and youth trainer, the difference will be enormous in the long term.

Especially for coaches that want to finish their training as fast as possible, and to minimize waste weeks in grinding skills, this difference between trainers is a game changer, and it's no surprise as to why they are this expensive.

But of course, for the whole duration of training your player, you need to always have a lvl 6 or lvl 7 trainer to benefit from this extra effect to it's maximum.

I guess for each person the game can be something different. To me it's about trying to win at the highest level, which comes down to acquiring the most training at the least cost. (among other things)

3% more frequently for a price at least 50% higher.

it's all about priorities.

Hi there, Triton. Welcome to BB!

The levels mentioned above (numbered) refer to the same levels you are referring to. For example:

Level 1 = minimal
Level 2 = basic
Level 3 = competent
Level 4 = advanced
Level 5 = superior
Level 6 = exceptional
Level 7 = world-renowned

So, when people refer to the Level number, it is assumed that you know what those levels mean. ie. Level 6 means an exceptional trainer.

Hope that helps.
