Nah, five years is a normal response time. :)
I got three more kids and emigrated to another country, but I sill play BB (although on low burner) so the tip is valid.

Yeah, absolutely.
I don't know if they continued the podcast, but I couldn't listen to it anymore. Without Sekou it's not the same. Would have been different, if he had left bc he wanted a change, but to know the dude isn't around anymore makes it hard.

Guess they cancelled it?
The Jump I find hard to listen to... too much ass-kissing and they're too afraid to loose their ESPN contracts.
Bill Simmons is fine, he is filthy rich and doesn't have to care about ruffing feathers, which in this case is good :)

You are right. The tribute episodes back in February were the last ones.
I started following some locked on podcasts, still have to give Simmons a shot. Many seem to be pretty high on him.

Have you read the book of basketball that he wrote in 09?
Its seriously the best sports book Ive read. Think its around 700 pages but it flows so good, you'll never notice :)

Not yet, but it sounds promising.
His podcast though, seems to be a mix of basketball and football or does he have another one that's basketball only?

The redraftables episodes are kinda fun, and the book of basketball 2.0 (as a pod) sometimes is pure gold. But yeah, there are more purist bball shows there, sometimes his own show is a bit heavy on NFL or even baseball, which I think no-one outside of USA and Japan cares about :)
