We'd like to ask you to follow certain routines/rules when sending box score links and scores to this Thread so that we could make process a bit more manageable to a league Commissioner and to ensure smooth and fair functioning of HGL.

So in addition to what has been mentioned before, there are some things to note and remember when sending box score links, and also few reminders/tips on how we can make operation of HGL as smooth as possible:

1. For Season 2 it is not a requirement for you to send a separate box score posts for each match to a HGL Scores Thread, but all managers are required to add HGL match links and match scores to their own box score posts. When doing that, keep these requirements in mind:
A) all Regular Season match links need to be sent prior to season beginning
B) managers are required to add scores of matches to box score post after they have been played
C) especially during playoffs it is necessary to send box score links to matches within certain time frame (timeframe during Playoffs likely at the very least on Friday) so that I can ensure before the match that match specifics (teams, day, time) are correct.

2. Remember, that PU games are not visible to other users than for the teams involved in the match, so either you or your opponent must send the link to the box score, as nobody else can do it. If you notice it being sent to a wrong thread (other than this), please do send it again in this correct forum thread.

3. In some (unlikely) cases it might be necessary for a league Commissioner to send you a reminder by BBMail or on official league thread 'Home-Grown League (HGL) Season 2 Official Thread', if no box score link to match has been sent to this forum thread.

4. Please also bear in mind, that it is not a duty/obligation of a league Commissioner to send such reminder posts/BBMails, but managers involved in a match are responsible for sending box score links within the required timeframe.

5. Based on discretion, during Playoffs league Commissioner can also accept box score links sent to the aforementioned, official league forum, but as a basic rule All box score links should be sent on this Scores Thread only, and to be more precise to your own season box score post.
In other words, if you are in a real hurry when organizing urgent match for Playoffs, you are allowed to send box score link of match to Scores Thread as a separate post, but be aware that it doesn't release you from the obligation to add it to your own season box score post (as soon as you can).

6. It's the aim of the league Commissioner to update the league table within a decent timeframe of played matches to keep it relatively current.
Given that all updates to league table are done manually, please be prepared to it that updates practically won't ever happen as quickly as in a regular Buzzerbeater league.

7. As an important reminder: all us managers organize all Regular Season matches during one time window before the regular season starts, so when every manager does this properly, all the regular season matches will be played in time (I´ll check each match specifics before season starts). Please be careful with match court balance (neutral during Regular Season!) as I can't check that before match!

8. Lke mentioned before, Playoffs is the riskiest time of the year for HGL, so we´d like to ask you to set up some reminders (on phone, computer, calendar, etc.) so that you remember to arrange Playoff match for your team each and every week (unless you lose before semifinals, which is the last match of the season for your team).

Season 2 HGL Threads (main and scores thread) have now been set up, so HGL related conversation will mainly take place in those Threads from now on.

What everyone who participates to Season 2 of HGL needs to do now:

1. at least briefly check out your season schedule (posts 5 and 6 on Season 2 Scores Thread, link at the end of post); I didn't notice anything special/faulty in it, but having another eyes to check it too doesn't harm. (Basically we should be good to go, as I re-used Season 1 Schedule by editing it as little as possible considering we have 4 joining teams, but anyone possibly spotting any problems please let me know).

2. create an own box score post for their team, just like during Season 1.
As an idea for your convenience (and to retain preferred standard for HGL) you can respond to this message (327517.14) and from that post of mine copy-paste everything below * * * * * * to your own box score post (and only change your team name/abbreviation and add match links to it as soon as matches for Season 2 have been organized).
If you need a memory refresher on how your box score post for the season works/how you edit it once you have box score links to add, you can read this post: (327516.13).

3. Familiarize yourself with match organization process if it's new thing for you or if you need a refresher (guide currently available on 'Announcement'-posts on both Official Threads) and ask questions (if needed) preferably before you'll start the process.

@all participating managers: you need to provide a similar kind of list (as seen below, underneath the line of stars), a.k.a. your team's own box score post before Season 2 on Season 2 HGL Scores-thread. For new-to-HGL managers nstructions on how to easily create this is found on previous messages, (326590.42) and (326590.43). Please note that while instructions remain correct in previous links, they refer to Season 1 match days.

But to put it in short, you're free to copy-paste this into your HGL Season 2 box score post (now that Official Season 2 Scores Thread is published), and then just change your team name to replace 'WAG', and add match box score link (match number) instead of 'xxx' (at [match=xxx]) to all Regular Season matches when matches have been organized.

I'd like everyone to follow this sort of structure (in your own box score posts) to keep it easier for me to interpret. You may edit it in some ways if you want, like some of you guys have done on Season 1, but please keep all essential information in it and preferably formatting of the post relatively same (as below).

Eventually you'll need to keep on adding scores of the matches to your own box score posts during the whole season when matches have been played.

Season 2 league schedule is now published, so every manager participating on HGL Season 2 should now start creating their own box score post by responding to this post, as this is an essential pre-season task for everyone.
