I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that the size of the cup is dependant on the number of divisions in that country. So Australia has 4 divisions so the cup is 1024.
Not completely sure how it all works, but there will be teams that aren't in the cup due to having too low of a ranking.

Whatever the number, half of the teams in BuzzerBeater will be able to use the new tactics on the 24th.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.
