I fire my Dr every time someone gets injured. The last 2 guys seem to have gotten the message.

It's always interesting to me how many different strategic decisions we can make in this game.

Does anybody spend draft and scouting? I spend $0 on it myself, because my philosophy is that I can save that many and acquire the player I want instead.

Tuesday’s game isn’t represented in the records/standings yet. We are both actually 15-4.

And now Tuesday's games are in the standings. (that had not occurred to me).
Just glad to know that I am not going crazy - at least on that particular point.

My kitties seem to ignore the draft for a while (although slowly building up draft points) as I train up guys. Then when I have an open training slot, I have lots of draft points to spend on scouting . . . and hope I find a superstar.
Sometimes I do find one - and think this is a great strategy. Other times I spend a lot of points for little reward - and question what I have been doing. While it is a strategic decision, not sure I recommend it to others

I have not put one red cent into R&D in ages, draft is a crapshoot. And WTF do these scouts know anyway. Every couple of seasons or so I get a Han, a Webb a Taylor, and now with Gonzales a guy that seems worth training strictly by chance. My buddy in D4 Coach Thompson had a QUALITY 19 Yr old mvp caliber guy just dropped into his lap.

Though my best success has been with guys I have picked up with some skills already baked in. Skinner and McLean in the past and Katsumata currently. The big thing though is I now see what going the 1v1F training does for initial development., And for that matter what it does for a guy like Han who has seen a lot of movement this season thanks to that. Plus it helps having a level 2 gym and a level 5 YT.

Your opening montage consist of the proverbial "opening up the play with a great pass... Of alley oops , of give and goes, of teammates working together!

Announcer: as we enter the last week of competition a few things are left to be decided. And some teams are looking in unlikely places for assistance.

Over in big blue there is a three way logjam for the final playoff position.

The Generals sit in the middle of those three and look to handle their business against the landlocked breathers in their home final.

But the battle for the playoffs can lead to some unlikely alliances.

To wit....

The brewskies battle calimari with a eye on adding themselves potentially to the mix.

And the ancient rival deronimo has the bunnies calling

And we also have the revival seeking to steady themselves for the final push against the thunders who are in the position of spoiler.

Over in club red...

The lumberjacks need to post a big number on the botified rollers

While the kitties need to hold home serve against a bama club that is making moves as of late

Inc looks to lock in the last playoff spot against a Suffolk squad finally performing closer to expectations

And bacon looks to build up some positive momentum against masters

Another huge week on the transfer ticker to reset. Alfred's angle and Lee's way will share their viewpoints and Sybil of course will seer into her crystal ball. So don't stall we've got it all as time has come again for BB2NIGHT!

I have a boat load of scouting points for when I get a top 5 pick, but I currently don't do anything. I've had them for 2 dozen seasons?

But similar question, what do people spend on their trainer? Seems like training is a big inefficiency at any level.

I spend 15k a week on a level 4 trainer. No specialty.
