1. How do you manage player's minutes in the allstar week? My team has 6 trainees and not only I would lose 2 training spots but also the weekly minutes distribution looks unmanageable.
2. Outside defense training:
- 90% efficiency for one-position SG
- 80% efficiency for one-position SF
- 70% efficiency for one-position PF
but if you go for a three-position training for SG/SF/PF, all three receives 90%? Am I reading this correctly?
Edited to add another question
REGARDING OUTSIDE DEFENSE Training:Training types Coeffs:
Coach Assistant Coeff:
1. minimal 0.88
2. basic 0.91
3. competent 0.94
4. advanced 0.97
5. superior 1.0
6. exceptional 1.03
7. world-renowned 1.06
Pressure (Outside Defense):
Pressure (PG): 0.5 OD, 0.1 ID, 0.05 Ha, 0.05 Dr. SUM=0.7
Pressure PG/SG): 0.38 OD, 0.08 ID, 0.04 Ha, 0.04 Dr. SUM=0.54
Pressure (PG/SG/SF): 0.2 OD, 0.04 ID, 0.02 Ha, 0.02 Dr. SUM=0.28
Therefore, for example, where a
small young player in a PG position might get 1 pop every 2 weeks with 1-position (PG) training, this same player would get 1 pop every 4-5 weeks with 3-position training (PG/SG/SF).
I mention 'small young player' as height and age will play into this scenario, as will their potential.
So, to answer your initial question (in a round a bout way):
The All-star week is deliberately challenging. Many managers choose to train FT or Stamina in this week. If, like me, you want to utilise maximum training, then choose either 2 of your best 3 trainees (if you are doing 1-position training) or, like me, focus on 4 of the 6 trainees (if doing 2-position training).
As for minutes? Yes, you will not get all of your players the required minutes. So, as others have suggested, focus on those players which matter most. Your starters and/or your trainees. For me it is a mixture of both.
Regardless, this week is unlike other weeks. Accept it and make the best of it to the best of your abilities.
Good luck.
