Cresleys march on in Cup

The Connecticut Cresleys played before a nearly packed house at the Genco last night against the Red Terrors, and sent the Terrors packing, 124-94. The Cresleys surprised many an onlooker with an overpowering start from the Opening tip. The Cresleys raced to a 27-11 lead with six minutes remaining in the First Quater. However, The Terror attempted to make a game of it with their Run and Gun tactics, but Sela's jumper from the top of the key would snuff out all Terror hopes, as the Cresleys jumped to a 45-30 lead at the end of one.

The Second quarter was all but a replay of the first, as the passing game, which many in attendance say have not been seen since the days of Alex Henry and Clyde Diehl, ran the Terrors into the ground as the Cresleys ran to a 77-47 lead at the half. From there, the Cresleys would never be seriously challenged.

Eliyahu Sela came off the bench to lead all scorers with 29 points.
