Press Announcements

3 for 3.

We've move to the top of the table, winning all our starting 3 games. :)

Malaysia vs Macau

G. Yunyong lead the charge against Macau, hitting 100% from the 3 point line and 12/15 from the field, with 31 points. Twin towers Yao and Sailom provided another 32 points, 25 rebounds,5 assists and 3 blocks.

We were never under any threat from Macau and won the game comfortably.

Malaysia vs Japan

This was a little more interesting, with Japan chalking up massive wins against Philippines and Australia.

With a little talking done before the game in the form of press releases, it was one of the more competitive pre-game build ups we had for a while.

Veteran Feriza went pound for pound against Japanese loudmouth(sic) Superstar Furusawa, dropping 28 to match his opponents 29. Fortunately for Feriza, he was backed up by Sailom's 29 and 4 other players who also hit double digits for points.

A good solid win for us. We're on a break next week for scrims, then we take on Australia, who are smarting from that unexpected loss to Japan. Injured lions are even more deadly.
