For the first time since 4/17/2011, there is a foreigner on the BCB Roster as the Boingers have signed Adams Jankevics from Latvia. Adams comes to the US as a result of a Special Bloom County transfer program that allowed star guard Sammy Donnally to be sold to a team in Israel.
"We are still dedicated to progressing the talent of players here on our home turf, but the chance to land a prospect like Adams was just too good to pass up. Adams brings us a player who will be able to play all 5 positions on the court, and should see a huge boost to his skills in our balanced training program. We envision a future back court of Adams and Mark (Archer) to lead this team for a very long time.", Coach Donkey was heard saying while gourging on Hot Wings at a Local Buffalo Wild Wings.
When asked about the future of Newly Signed Guard Trainee Patrick Hare, Coach Donkey responded, "Hes just not who we thought he was. We thought he was a highly motivated individual who would take his training very seriously, and all he does is eat Big Mac's" When asked if the controversy about sleeping with Veteran Big Man Glen Craigs Daughter coach Donkey responded, " When Craig found them in the back of his Tahoe we thought he was going to kill the young man, err..... No this move is not related, no comment......That is all!"
