Only three days after the blockbuster acquisition of Elroy Copeland, the 'Burn make another surprise move selling off their star Center, Reynaldo Alvarado and purchasing a replacement Mursit Tanriover. Both transactions were team records with Tanriover being purchased for $530,700 while Reynaldo Alvarado was sold off for $900,000. Even though the Burn net almost a $400000 profit, they feel that they have the better end of the transactions.
Tanriover has nearly identical skills on his inside game but brings in considerable more stamina, Experience and the ability to actually sink a free throw.
