Seattle - The Bowling Green Sharks delivered an impressive performance at Purcell Pavilion, defeating the Seattle Fighting Irish 131-78 in front of a crowd of 4,822. The Sharks held a commanding 69-38 lead at halftime and never looked back.
Dymtro Damin led all scorers with 24 points, while James Yates earned Player of the Game honors, contributing 21 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 blocks. Yates' all-around performance played a key role in the Sharks' dominance, as they overwhelmed the Fighting Irish on both ends of the court.
Jessie Justice paced Seattle with 19 points, but the Fighting Irish were unable to mount any serious challenge against the high-powered Sharks offense.
Looking ahead, the Sharks will take part in the Buzzerbeater Madness and Cup games before returning to league play. They will host the 0-2 California Bears at the Shark Tank on Saturday, April 12 at 7 p.m.
