Stand-bys New Home - Rebranding the Team

The North Caloocan Stand-bys are transferring to another city - Pasig.

The move was decided after GM Uiyu secured a part-time job in Pasig City.

"It is too difficult for me to manage two jobs in two different places. We have the money to move, and it is not an issue to the ownership." GM Uiyu said in yesterday's press conference.

"Besides, we cannot secure our homecourt in North Caloocan. The City Government cannot give us proper documents that allows us to play there. Senator Trillanes won't give us any assurance that we can stay there if he would win the next election. So, we don't really have any choice." He added.

The team plans to relocate to the Pasig River, using the revenue this season to secure an enormous arena that would cater at least 20,000 audience - the Umaagos Floating Court.

"Umaagos Floating Court is what its name implies, it floats and flows along the Pasig River. This will hopefully help us avoid land title processing, government permits, etc."
