No clams have been injured in the making of this product. Although I can't say the same for beers... Maybe that's where the bugs got in. ;-)

New update. I promise this will be the last for a while.

I had a little time this weekend and put in the BB Training Site salary estimator and wrote better directions. Hopefully this makes the tool more complete and easier to use.

This training tool is impressive and incredibly useful. Thanks a million for putting it together. Much better than the excel planner I had created.

Question - does this model somehow place a cap (hard or soft) on potential? If so, can you explain how?

Thanks again!

The simulator keeps track of how close you are to capping. This is the "cap value" portion of the training results. It uses Josef Ka's cap formula which gives a range for where your player will hit the training slow-down. When the cap value number turns red, you have entered this range. When it gets a strikethrough, you have modeled training that exceeds this range. But it doesn't simulate the slow-down, since (as far as I know) no one has successfully figured out how that works.

Hiya, i downloaded the v2.4, opened it but all icould change were the heights and ages, where when clicking on the selected ones, the scroll down option came up.
There was nothing i could do about the names, skills, potential, as when i clicked on any of them nothing happened, i wasnt given an option to erase and input the correct one, neither a scroll down appeared with set figures, at least for the skills and potential.

Is there something im doing wrong?

P.S i could change the trainer's level and also set the training regime, per week/year and assign (default)trainees to it.

I've been a little busy in RL, so I just saw your message. Thanks for bringing it up.

I couldn't duplicate your problem on my end. Please answer a few questions to help me figure out the problem:
1) What OS/program were you using to open the spreadsheet?
2) When you tried deleting the information in the "Current Skills" cells and typing in new information, did nothing happen? or did you get an error message/alert sound?
3) And am I correct that you did not open the spreadsheet in "read-only" mode?
4) Are you able to input anything into other blank cells on the sheet?

Thanks!

Is anyone else having this problem?

Thanks for the reply.
1)I opened the Drive with Firefox and downloaded the spreadsheet with PlanMaker.
Opening the PlanMaker file run into all the problems afore mentioned.

2) Nothing happened, no errormessage and/or sound alert

3) Read only mode

4) No

Anyways, i processed the spreadsheet on Drive itself. There i was able to input all the data,no problems. I wrote three players, set their training regime(for PG/SG) for 2 seasons( with them 3 in the 1,2,3 slots, deleted all the other default names).

For season 1, it gives me the training results of players 1 and 2, but for player 3, the skills remain the same with current skill.
For season 2, for players 1 and 2 results in all of their skills i get a "N/A" sign and player3 still remains the same with current skill.

For some reason, in season's 2 training regime, it doesnt read the command "PRESSURE (PG/SG)", as when i scroll over the N/A signs in the training results, it says PRESSURE (PG/SG) not found.

I have the same command in season's 1 training regime and at least for the first two players, training results come up properly.
