Media ReleaseThe Irish U21’s Season (57) has come to a long-awaited end. With the group of players, the worst in season it is a miracle they finished with a 4-4 competitive record and remain in the 40s in the world rankings.
The Irish team had many low points and rare highpoints. They won most of the games that they were expected to win and left some awful loses to teams with far inferior rankings. The highest point of the season was the team becoming an internet session for their emphatic version of the Harlem Shake. Many of the graduating U21s from this season are now considering a career as a social influencer instead of continuing their professional basketball careers. This recommendation was forwarded by this year’s head coach.
Of this year’s graduates, we wish a goodbye and farewell. Best of luck in the future, and may you live long in the buzzerbeater database.

(49623116)Next year’s outfit promises more than this team’s useless lot. High hopes are held for the guards of this year as despite being young show massive potential if they continue their progression. The bigs are being revamped to provide more of anchor on the team. Glory days are on the way, it’s only a matter of patience and persistence.
Election for the U21 job position will held again, the current head coach will once again go the role and will continue to help the team in the event the public elect someone else.
