Season 60 – Falling upwards

The Irish U21 team is going through its routine of poor a season between great teams. Although the team had a dismal 1-6 competitive record and a 3-7 scrimmage record, we’ve gone up in the world ranking by 1. We are currently ranked 52nd when we started the season 53rd. Although this doesn’t sound like a big deal, it will help with keeping Ireland as a strong nation underage especially when a strong team comes through. They won’t need to spend the season coming from the depths of the basketball rankings and can hopefully break higher.

Next season has some decent players but again not enough depth (at least yet), however the majority of the season will be spent looking over the shoulder of current players to see how is next.
