Tonight's coverage starts by joining the team as they ride on the train to their destination as the bustling lights of the city reflect in the window. A more solemn look compared to the jovial nature of a week ago as images of last week's unfortunate events are flashed back upon merging into more positive actions of the players with their club teams as our theme for the evening (or in my case morning) plays for symbolic effect.

Post script: in a game that was a lot closer than the score indicates our lads pulled away late to win going away. We showed good balance with four players in double figures and a even 50% shooting percentage. Great control on the glass with a 57-34 edge including 20-5 on the offensive glass. Takenaka was in my book man of the match by going 10-11 but Kikugawa deserves some props for posting a assist-rebounding double double as that's not something one sees very often. Matsuyama hasn't quite hit his stride but he showed flashes, if he can get uncorked it's on.

Two games in and back to level with a plus PD so hopefully everything keeps coming together. Pound your core skills fellas, I can feel this coming together. But let's take it one game at a time. Next Up:Saudi Arabia
