Your opening package is showing both sides of tonight's tilt.

Announcer: we're halfway thru the seeding process and the sons of the rising sun step over to the old part of the new world to try and move one step closer to qualifying for the knockout phase. So far three wins against teams they should beat versus one that we were too overmatched against has us sitting right where we want to be. But to advance to the next phase it will require a effort where a result is garnered against the suggested lineage of the teams. That opportunity presents itself, our opponent came out slow out of the gate and are already behind the eight ball mired deep down the pecking order. They have on paper slightly better talent but nothing that is insurmountable.


Post script: a bitter defeat, and one long flight home. Buzzerbeater is a cruel mistress.
