Tokyo, Japan -- The Fuji Rising Sun's magical season has ended when they lost to undefeated PPL team PLC7 in the semi-finals 89-115.
''Kudos to PLC7, this is their season to win,'' GM Maro said. ''they are the superior team and is dominant and should go all the way.''
It was a rough night for the Sun's as they only scored 10 points in the opening quarter compared to PLC's 31 points which they never recovered from.
''Four players in the Top-7 MVP's.. damn.,'' Art Cabrera said who led the Suns with a double-double 19 points and 12 rebounds. The rest went cold with Eden Cabrillos going 1-12 from the field with 7 points, 15 rebounds, and 7 assists.
Sure, the Suns were aggressive with 25 free throw attempts converting 23 but that is no consolation since they were dominated right off the bat.
