Devil's Advocate Upset 7th Ranked Team In The World

April 9th, 2010 marks the day in which Devil's Advocate may very well have pulled off its most impressive win to date.

Putting aside the fact that it is in essence a meaningless private league game, the DA managed to top the 7th ranked team in the world Shaq_ Attack (56907), winning by a final score of 101-88. This is quite an impressive feat for a team that is ranked 744th themselves. It is also a huge morale booster for this squad that has been battling it out in the Naismith for the past 3 seasons.

Star player Geoff Abbott had this to say, "Beating the 7th best team in the world really shows what we're made of. It definitely gives us guys the hope that one day we might potentially beat the two best teams in Canada."

The two teams Abbott was referring to are of course BC Törööö and Random Noise. BC Törööö is currently ranked 6th in the world and Random Noise is 22nd. Manager RiP88's comment on beating either of these two great teams was "Don't hold your breath". Time will tell whether or not this team has what it takes to climb the ranks.
