Take It Easy

The Devil's Advocate organization is announcing that general manager RiP has been ordered by his therapist to discontinue managing the team for the next few weeks. The therapist notes that RiP has been agitated, irritable and frustrated with the way things have been going for his team this season.

Sources say the recent cup game loss against the Silver Palominos (A scrub filled division II team) was the last straw which sent him into a frenzied state of anger and confusion. After the game completed his press comment could not have been any more bitter, "How is it even possible to lose to a team like that? That's the same team we handled with ease back in seasons 5 through 8. Our team is supposed to be, and looks to be, much improved since that time while the Palominos have remained much the same. I suppose arguments could be made that it was the CT vs. TIE that decided the outcome but the players on our side of the floor should not be losing a game like that! At any rate, the tactics the Palominos used show why they've been stuck in division II since the end of season 2."

Former player Ksaverinas Ugenskas (4235851) has been chosen as the interim general manager. RiP will continue to come into the office every other day or so but his activity level is intended to decline significantly until he can fully re-cooperate. In the words of his therapist, "Until we can determine that RiP's recovered fully, it's best that he lay low for a while. We certainly don't want to see him walk away from a team he's put so much time and effort into so hopefully this sabbatical will help him to rekindle his interest."
