Abbo(u)tt Time

On August 5th, Devil's Advocates best player Geoff Abbott went down with an MCL sprain. The team's doctor anticipated that Abbott would be out three weeks. Now almost four weeks since the day the injury occurred, Geoff is finally going to make his long awaited return tonight against North East Point Toastifiers.

The team does not expect to win tough games any time soon as Abbott is still going to need a couple more weeks to regain playing form, but the organization is glad that he is finally back and will be able to contribute in the team's impending relegation series.

"After only playing in six of the team's sixteen league games this season I'm glad to be back for the playoff push", commented Abbott.
