Press Announcements

Owner Bails on DA

It was announced earlier this morning that the Devil's Advocates long time owner Boris Shashenkov has decided to walk away from the team for unknown reasons. This leaves the team in a state of limbo with no one paying the bills for the staff and players. The Advocates' PR manager has already announced his resignation and the other staff members are expected to follow suit. Several DA players that had inside info about their owner's plan to bail decided to quit the team and play elsewhere. Meanwhile, the remaining core group of guys have decided to stick it out and hope the situation gets resolved soon.

General manager RiP is currently in the process of seeking out new ownership. He will not be around very much for the next month or so while he tries to complete his mission. The good news is that sources are already claiming he may have found a new ownership group and the team may very well be in good shape come the start of next season.
