Team Looks to Regroup After Disappointing Playoff Loss

Despite being on the road, and the coach telling the players to take it easy to save thier energy for the finals, Eclypze expected to beat the Ozark Tigers. They had beaten them in both regular season games quite easily. That is not to say that the Tigers are a slouch team, they have the best front line in this division with both the league MVP and the runner up MVP. That being said, the Tigers just did not match up well in past games versus Eclypze.

Tuesday night was a different story however. The Tigers came out on a misson, their players playing like it was the game of their lives. Ozark dominated the boards, grabbing every rebound and loose ball. Eclypze players never really expected to lose so they never picked up the slack until it was too late. In an a close game, that extra effort and hustle by the Tigers was the difference maker.

For next season Eclypze plans to keep most of the core team intact, however they will be selling the highest salaried players to save on expenses. The star point guard Nate Beckman has already sold for 2.6 million to a Division One Czech team, he is an elite caliber guard who will be missed.
