Eclypze Announcer Suffers Seizure Trying to Pronounce Names

In the Tuesday night match between Eclypze and Thunderhorse, Eclypze radio announcer Jack Mitchel suffered a seizure. Co-announcer James Jones blamed the seizure on the difficulty of pronouncing the names of Thunderhorse players. "When Jack gets tongue tied, his brain can just freeze up on him. We practiced three hours before the game trying to get the Thunderhorse names right, but it was to no avail. Trying to announce play by play action with names such as Maksimilijonas Rekscis,
Blagoy Kyulyumov, Luca Speggiorin, Nemanja Koturović, Ryszard Rodewald and Ignas Jazilionis was simply impossible for Jack."

Eclypze management and fans wish Jack well and a swift recovery. Long time Eclypze veteran Connie Mcintyre said the following, "this is as good reason as any to promote to Division 2 next season, so we don't have to play Thunderhorse again and have Jack go down with another seizure".

i've long thought a requirement of owning a player should be the ability to correctly pronounce the name. or maybe we could simply recreate the Ellis Island experience, and have an option of turning Ryszard Rodewald into "Randy Rodewald"
