Press Announcements

Super Team Assembled; Let the Winning Commence

Sporting a 290k team salary, the largest of any team in division III.6, team owner Smedlock has kept to his promise to avenge the playoff upsets of the last two seasons. Smedlock stated, "though I'm usually a budget minded owner, that line of thinking has got us nowhere the past few seasons. No expense will be spared to promote to division two and go as far as possible in the cup. We are all-in this season".

The team got off to a rocky start against the Ozark Tigers whose manager has been vacant for the past month and is believed to be retiring soon. Ozark enjoyed a small lead throughout most of the game, with their two dominant big men having their way against Eclypze's undersized front court, but Eclypze got the best of the Tigers in the fourth quarter. Last night Eclypze added a PF from Spain to the team to help shore up the front line. Despite having such a high salaried team, no one knows how well this team will perform, especially as the coach is still trying to figure out how to best use all of the newly acquired stars, and which tactics will best suit them. Although the team will face a tough challenge in the next two games, with the Toronto Traptors and Lake Charles Creoles coming up, management is confident that as the season progresses it will be very difficult for any team in this league to defeat Eclypze.

Yeah... I hope your team advances because if the recent additions are any indication, your team is going to be really hard to beat this year. Good luck to you.

Promoting won't be easy, Schrodas won't go down without a fight and teams like yours and Lake Charles are one move away from being on our level. I'm going to try to win as many games as possible during the regular season so that even if I lose in the playoffs, I still got a shot at promoting.
